There’s something settling in the silence.
A moment of comprehension.
Life is a fragile thing.
We move through the hustle and bustle, mindful of our steps. Stepping on each others shadows.
But when standing still and silent: it all stops.
We are waiting for our world to stop spinning so we, in turn, can stop.
We are waiting on our moment of silence. And it will come. Soon.
It will be brought in on the wind and we will all be brought to our knees.
An unexpected guest. A much deserved moment of rest.
A break from our disjointed reality before being thrown back in to the noise of life.
